Technical Support Engineer

Project: Federal project, US Citizens only
Start Date: Immediate
Starting Salary: $55,000 basic salary with late shift allowance potentially rising to $60,000. + Health Benefits + Relocation $3,000 – $5,000

Hours: Mainly night work (8 hours between 5pm and 5am pacific time) with some daytime hours.
Location: Remote Initially (up to 3 months). Thereafter, Bellevue. Washington.

A Technical Support Engineer will engage users of the software who are experiencing challenges or have questions regarding usage. Typically, communication is via telephone but can also be via email or instant message.

The Employer is willing to consider all educational backgrounds which can demonstrate technical strength. This could include, but not be limited to: Associate or Bachelor’s in a Technology, or other STEM area such as Science, Engineering, or Mathematics. Candidates who do not hold a specific degree in these areas, but who can demonstrate an ability and learning in Tech or STEM areas will be considered.
Strong communication skills, an interest in supporting others, patience, and a positive attitude.

The ideal candidate would have an overall interest in technology particularly in areas such as network administration, information security, Network systems and Linux. A healthy technology background is essential.
